A perfect accommodation for cyclists and also for drivers on the Lyon - Mediterranean route. Very quiet, beautifully green with many different seating areas, plus a pool and everything very relaxing. The hosts are very friendly and laid-back. The room was very pleasant, the shower in the room beautifully designed and practical. Breakfast is sufficient. Thank you for the restful overnight stay.

I had an excellent night during a business trip in this guest house, whose bucolic environment and appearance are very pleasant. I was greeted with a smile by the owner. The common areas, the room, and the outdoor park are charming. The only downside: the soundproofing of the rooms. I could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms and vice versa. The charm of the old with its drawbacks. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it!

We just stopped by for dinner by chance with 5 people after seeing the signs for the via Rhona indicating this guest table, but unfortunately we had already booked accommodation elsewhere. What a wonderful surprise, the dishes prepared by Catherine and the recommended Saint Joseph wines made our evening exceptional and it was a great encounter with hardworking and caring people dedicated to their guests' well-being. The chateau-like building is located not far from the Rhone in picturesque surroundings. The rooms, all of which are in the attic, are nicely designed in keeping with the style of the building. The two hosts took very good care of us. Unfortunately, on this hot day, the air conditioning in our room was broken. The replacement unit provided was quite loud and not really pleasant. And since it had to be turned off at night, we were forced to leave the window open because of the heat. Unfortunately, there was a party next door, so the night's sleep was not really restful. Despite informing the host, we were not offered any compensation, not even a symbolic bonus. Otherwise, the stay was really very nice. The regional menu prepared by Madame was excellent. My wife's gluten intolerance was also taken into account with excellent gluten-free alternatives. The local wines on offer are also excellent. The French-style breakfast buffet was well stocked and the products were delicious. In conclusion, we can say that a stay there is worthwhile and enjoyable, provided that the air conditioning works in hot weather. However, we would be happy to try again. :-)

Just one night in this beautiful estate, the common areas and outdoor spaces are great and accessible, the room is very pretty, but a downside was the portable air conditioning during a heatwave—too bad! The owners are friendly and welcoming! Excellent meal 👍🏻. The only disappointment was the next day, when the pool was closed and not accessible before the required departure at 10:30 am... Something to reconsider, I think, for everything to be perfect 😉

We stayed here for our stopover on the way to France. We received a warm welcome and even enjoyed a wonderful swim with our 2-year-old son. In the evening, we had a delicious meal outside in the garden and were well taken care of. Unfortunately, it was 35 degrees when we were there and there was no good air conditioning in the room. That was the only thing we missed for the price. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

The B&B is a rural building outside the center of Andancette. It has free parking. The rooms are on the first floor (no elevator) and each room is decorated with a theme (Moroccan, Tuscan, Creole, etc.). Ours was African style and really reminded us a bit of South African lodges with orange/red/ochre colors and a walk-in shower. The room was not very bright but spacious, though one of the two mattresses was a bit uncomfortable. Super fast Wi-Fi. Outside, there is a beautiful garden with a pool, gazebo, and deck chairs for relaxing among the cat and the peacock Shiva. Breakfast is a small buffet of mostly sweet, local products (croissants, bread, jams). On the evening of our arrival, we had dinner (table d'hôte) with regional dishes (including gluten-free options, if requested in advance). Recommended.

Wonderful Chambre d'Hôtes directly at the ViaRhôna. Perfect for a stayover and refreshment during the Bicycling Tour. Another highlight was the Peacock 🦚 of the house (can be a little loud in the early morning though). The family owners were very kind and we can only highly recommend this place! 🤗

The hosts are very welcoming, the rooms are spacious with quality bedding. For business travelers: you won’t regret staying here instead of the standard hotels from the big chains nearby. We arrived by bike. We actually just wanted to take a short break, but the atmosphere was so relaxing that we decided to stay overnight on July 14th. You can also see it in our video at minute 31:30 on YouTube, 'Biketour von Augsburg nach Avignon.' By the way, the food was also very impressive!

We booked an overnight stay here on our way to Spain. After a friendly welcome, we first enjoyed a nice swim in the pool. The rooms are relatively simple but very well maintained and clean. Dinner consisted of local dishes and was very tasty, also reasonably priced. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location itself is beautiful—a lovely authentic building with a large garden, pool, and terrace. The resident peacock also got plenty of attention. Definitely recommended.

Rigid 5pm-1030am check in/out time. Air conditioning did not work. Washer was listed as available but so were the cobwebs surrounding it I guess. Modest breakfast. Host was nice. Hostess balked at loaning us a corkscrew for the 30 seconds saying they sell wine which was a surprise to us. This is a potentially great property but cluttered, not rustic. Not sure they enjoy hosting.

We have stayed here before as part of overnight stops. The rooms are good and clean, and the location is on the Rhône near the highway heading south. Unfortunately, the owner has changed. Only French is spoken, and unfortunately no English (nor German, which we don't expect abroad anyway). Due to a mistake, only 2 adults were registered and not our children, aged 15 and 17. However, we knew that the family room had a sofa bed for 2. Upon arrival, we were told this was not possible and that we had to book an additional room. The family room was still charged for more than 2 people (contrary to the price posted on the room door for 2). Since we could only communicate in English, we just accepted it. They could have been more accommodating and offered a supplement for our kids (there was space), or at least charged the family room at the regular 2-person rate (which was what the booking was for). We felt ripped off and a bit cheated. Since the accommodation itself is good and clean: 2 stars. However, we will definitely not stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised by this former silk farm, which has kept all its authenticity while adding a touch of modernity, nestled in greenery between Vienne and Valence. We were warmly welcomed by a wonderful peacock displaying its feathers as a greeting. Our room was spacious and impeccable, with high-quality amenities: hair dryer, tissues, courtesy kettle, L'Occitane products. The owners are lovely and respectful of the local wildlife and plants. The table d'hôte and breakfast were complete and delicious. Nothing to complain about, except, just to nitpick, there was no TV... but do we really need one in such a setting...? Better to be lulled by the song of the cicadas, right? Thank you for this relaxing stay at your establishment.

Great and lovely place to stay overnight on the way to the Costa Brava, warmly welcomed at a nice location just outside Chanas, 10 minutes' drive from the Route du Soleil. Wonderful typical French hospitality.

An absolutely extraordinary place, with excellent hospitality. You won't regret staying here if you need a place to sleep in the area. It's a complete change of scenery; the garden is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, hiking, or cycling. The building is magnificent, there's a pool to cool off, and several spots to unwind, read, or exercise. Dinner service is also offered in the evening by reservation, and it was simply delicious. Breakfast is also very good, with regional products. In short, I was delighted with my stay.

We had a very tastefully decorated room in a very beautiful estate. The quiet location in the middle of nature, right on the bike path near the Rhône, is a paradise, especially for bird lovers. In the morning, you can already listen to the songs of orioles, nightingales, and other birds. The friendly staff was very helpful.

Very friendly welcome, lots of character for this former silkworm farm. We had the 'Toscane' room, which was very pleasant and air-conditioned. The downside is that all the rooms are (?) on the second floor, accessible by a staircase of uneven stones and then ribbed metal. The access is not very suitable for elderly people or those with knee or hip problems.

Nothing to complain about: - Perfect room (spacious, clean, air conditioning, wifi). - Smiling welcome, host available, helpful, and flexible for meal times in the morning and evening. - Magnificent and relaxing environment (despite the arrival in the area which is a bit uninviting at first, but once you arrive, you forget about it). - Many terraces and lounges to sit and work or eat. - Hearty and varied meals. When you find places like this, you can only avoid hotel chains (Ibis, Mercure, etc.) whose prices are higher! You feel at home. I recommend and will come back! Alexis.

A picturesque, calm, and relaxing place matched only by the hospitality and kindness of the owners. Each room matches the theme of its name, has comfortable bedding, and is spotlessly clean. In the evening, after a drink under the rotunda by the pool, we were invited to share a delicious meal made from products harvested in their garden and prepared almost before our eyes, all accompanied by excellent wine. After a good night's sleep, a tasty breakfast is served on a large terrace with birdsong as background music. For us, it's decided, we will stop here again on our way back from vacation.
