Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval

Set inside a lush garden, this palace was built by hand by postman Cheval over 93,000 hours and 33 years. Inspired by the postcards he delivered, it brings together caimans, elephants, pelicans, bears, birds, giants, fairies, mythological figures, cascades and architectures from every continent, creating an architectural work that is as unclassifiable as it is universal.
